Key people at Thames Reach

Andy started his career at Thames Reach in tenancy sustainment, and has since worked in floating support, hostels and supported housing. He has been Area Director for Thames Reach's services in North London since January 2011, which includes overseeing services in several North London boroughs, such as Hackney, Hammersmith and Fulham, Brent, Camden and Westminster. Previous to Thames Reach, Andy worked for other charities that provide services for homeless people. He has also worked with older people in an advocacy role.

Andy is also a qualified counsellor, cognitive-behavioural therapist and life coach. In the past, Andy has practiced privately as a therapist, and at present alongside his commitment to Thames Reach, Andy managed a counselling service for people who have been traumatically bereaved. Andy also trains people on a freelance basis, particularly focusing on brief assessment skills, suicide risk management and mental health.
