Partnerships in the Region
The North West is a hive of activity in the field of client employment! The National GROW Programme, with Homeless Link, supports a partnership of agencies in Manchester and Rochdale.
These are:
Both New Charter and Petrus Rochdale have created new employment opportunities for people with an experience of homelessness. The partnership shares practical advice, has heard from guest speakers including JCP and former service users who are now employed within homelessness agencies.
There is also a developing partnership in Liverpool of Merseyside agencies. The agencies represented at the Merseyside Client Employment partnership are:
The Carlisle Homelessness Improvement Partnership (CHIP) comprises:
The partnership have, as part of their objectives for the HALO Project (Healthy Aspirations and Learning Opportunities), the employment of current and former clients across the partnership.
