Every Thursday and Friday a team of people who have experienced homelessness deliver organic fruit and vegetables to homes and offices around London.
'Cabbages and Kings' gives vulnerable people the chance to learn about running a business, including cash handling, customer service and stock control.
Based in our long-term residential project, Robertson Street, it is hoped that the scheme will one day become a self-sustaining social enterprise.
Order organic produce from us
You can help to support this valuable scheme by ordering organic fruit and vegetables from Cabbages and Kings. They will deliver directly to your home or office on Thursday or Friday between 1pm and 5pm.
The team is currently targeting south west London, particularly the area around Clapham and Wandsworth.
Delivery is free for orders over £5 within a 5-mile radius of SW8.
For other areas of London, a £1.50 delivery charge applies, except for orders over £20.
The fruit and vegetables available will change from week to week depending on what is in season. At the moment you can order:

Vegetables: broccoli, onions, peppers, carrots, mushrooms, potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, leek, garlic, lettuce and cabbages.

Fruit: apples, lemons, pears, bananas, mandarins, oranges, raspberries, pineapples, strawberries and melons.
