Literacy support service

Julia and service user

Thames Reach’s Literacy Support Service helps formerly homeless, vulnerable and socially excluded men and women to improve their reading and writing skills.

The service offers people the chance to benefit from relaxed and informal one-to-one training sessions with a specialist literacy worker.

The service also offers support, advice and guidance to those who are dyslexic.

It is run by volunteers in eight week sessions at Thames Reach's Hudson House resource centre in Stockwell.
