Christmas is a particularly important time of year for Thames Reach and the work we do. It is at this time of year that homeless and vulnerable people can feel especially isolated and alone. This year the Thames Reach Christmas appeal will be focusing on social networks and the role they play in breaking the cycle of homelessness.

Ending rough sleeping
Thames Reach is giving its full backing to the Government’s new strategy to end rough sleeping in the capital by 2012. 'No One Left Out', launched earlier this week, shows a Government commitment to working in partnership with homelessness charities to achieve this.
The 2008 Annual Review is now available. Focusing on the drive to end rough sleeping by 2012, the review looks at some of the stories of people who use Thames Reach's services, the problems they face and their aspirations and achievements.
Thames Reach's new Lambeth SORT (Street Outreach Response Team) service, working with Lambeth council, has been set up to help rough sleepers and people caught up in a street lifestyle in the borough of Lambeth.
Launched in November, the service aims to help some of Lambeth's most vulnerable people.
Shift's East End refurbishment
Thames Reach’s Shift painting and decorating team recently completed a 12-week project refurbishing an historic building in East London. The extensive redecoration of the building has been warmly received by the general public and staff involved with the Community Links project who occupy the building.
Have you ever wanted to trek through some of the most remote parts of Scotland, living off the land? We are now offering our supporters the opportunity to help raise money for Thames Reach by participating in one of our exciting challenge events, including the coast to coast eco challenge across the Highlands.
Please help us to continue supporting homeless and vulnerable people by donating to Thames Reach.
