Thames Reach has been recognised as one of Britain’s top employers in the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work For list.
In the survey of mid-sized employers in the UK, Thames Reach has been ranked 44th in what is the biggest and most comprehensive survey of employee opinion in the UK.
Thames Reach employs over 400 staff and all were sent a Best Companies employee questionnaire with 54 key questions that the Star Status score is derived from. The results showed that 83% of staff feel the work of Thames Reach is making a positive difference to the world, a score bettered by only six other companies. Also, in the Fair Deal category, Thames Reach scored a top ten ranking nationally.
Thames Reach was also one of only 150 organisations to receive Two Star Status in the Michelin-style Best Companies Accreditation Scheme, which recognises organisational excellence. The two stars signify 'outstanding' performance.
Iyobosa Ehanire, Thames Reach’s human resources manager said: “We are delighted we are again listed as one of the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work for.
“This is indicative of our motivated and engaged staff who are so essential in helping further our work with London’s homeless. This engagement of our staff helps the organisation achieve its aims and objectives of supporting some of the most vulnerable people.”
