A series of short films on the StreetShine project are being shown on Channel 4 at the end of January.
These films form part of the Three Minute Wonder series and are going out after the Channel 4 news at 7.55pm on the evenings of Monday 28, Tuesday 29, Wednesday 30 and Thursday 31 January. For those with digital TV, they are repeated at Channel 4 +1 at 8.55pm.
The films look at the lives of four formerly homeless individuals employed in the shoe shine service run by StreetShine, a subsidiary company of Thames Reach.
According to Simon Fenton Jones, Chief Executive of StreetShine, “Each of the four films gives a charming and moving insight into the impact StreetShine is having on people's lives.”
