Thames Reach Chairman Ken Olisa has been named Non-Executive Director of the year in the not-for-profit category of the prestigious KBC Peel Hunt awards, sponsored by The Sunday Times.
The awards acknowledge the work and importance of non-executive directors across the private and not-for-profit sectors.
Ken Olisa said of the award:
“It is a tremendous honour to receive this award on behalf of the Board of Thames Reach, especially given the strength of the competition. It is an even greater honour however, to work with the dedicated staff at Thames Reach as we move rapidly towards the realisation of our vision – an end to street homelessness in London by the end of 2012.”
The shortlist was announced in the Sunday Times and the winners were announced at a ceremony in London on the 10 February.
