Thames Reach and Lambeth Council have teamed up to run a campaign to deter the public from giving money to people begging at a busy station in the borough.
The campaign is intended to deter commuters from giving money to people begging at Tulse Hill station.
The campaign’s message is that in London in 2009, people are begging to support a drink or drugs habit and that by giving money, the public’s kindness will backfire, possibly resulting in deaths among the vulnerable street population.
The decision to approach us to run the campaign follows on from us securing the contract to provide support to rough sleepers and the street population in Lambeth.
