Thames Reach has linked up with healthcare professionals to develop the Greenhouse Walk-in centre, which provides a comprehensive service for some of the most vulnerable people in the area.

Martin Harris manages the project. “If people are sleeping rough, have a drug or alcohol problem or are simply struggling to keep a roof over their head, they can just drop in.”

The new centre will provide a range of services including a full health assessment, tenancy support and debt and legal advice in a modern, purpose-built building.

It will be staffed by doctors and nurses from the City and Hackney Primary Care Trust and advice workers from Thames Reach.

Opening hours

The Greenhouse Walk-in sessions are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am to 12.30 pm.
