The BBC London social affairs TV programme Inside Out last week featured a ten minute film looking at the issue of ending street homelessness by 2012.

The film had interviews with Thames Reach Chief Executive Jeremy Swain and Outreach Service Manager Petra Salva and footage of London Street Rescue in action.

The film itself also featured interviews with critics of the attempt to end street homelessness by 2012, as well as other supporters such as Homeless Link Chief Executive Jenny Edwards.

A large part of the film looked at the plight of many Eastern Europeans sleeping rough in East London, looking at the challenges and potential pitfalls the homelessness sector faces as it looks to end rough sleeping in the capital.
