Aviva's London based office has selected Thames Reach as one of their four local London based charities to support through fundraising and staff volunteering.
Aviva recently held a 'Charity Partnership Day' in their London office as part of a wider Corporate Social Responsibility Week. The aim was to raise staff awareness of individual and team volunteering opportunities. Anupam Sahay, Aviva's Group Strategy and Development Director, presented the Thames Reach team with a cheque for £15,000 and London based staff voted for the money to go towards Thames Reach's Moving In Moving On (MIMO) painting and decorating project.
Sue Dines, Head of Talent Management within Aviva's Group Centre said:
"We're delighted that Thames Reach is one of our four London local charities and we're looking forward to building a strong relationship across the team.
"We're keen to support individuals who experience life trauma at all ages and Thames Reach helps people like this. We're also delighted to support Kids Company, Age Concern London and London Air Ambulance who all met each other at our Charity Partnership Day and are keen to forge ongoing relationships within Aviva at the helm."
