Thames Reach welcomes applications from potential volunteers for a variety of rewarding and interesting roles.
-
Do you have some time you wish to give?
-
Do you have skills you would like to share?
-
Do you have an interest in other people?
We would like to hear from you, whether you have a few hours or days to spare each week or month, as your help can make a real difference.
At Thames Reach, we know the value volunteers can bring, improving the lives of our service users. Volunteers form a vital part of many of our services and assist in many different ways; from working with our London Street Rescue street outreach team to befriending and mentoring.
Our volunteer opportunities are in a variety of settings and services from street outreach, hostels, supported housing and community outreach and support, and our office bases. This can be with both individuals and groups of service users.
As a volunteer you will be part of the Thames Reach team. You will be provided with a full induction, offered relevant training, and receive ongoing support. Our volunteering roles are suited for people who want to gain experience in the housing, social care and homelessness sector. We encourage people with experience of homelessness to volunteer.
Our general volunteer role profile provides greater detail of the ongoing and open recruitment to volunteering roles in the Organisation. Specific volunteer roles are available at times and opportunities are posted to this page.
If you are interested in paid work, please visit our Careers page.
