Christmas is a particularly important time of year for Thames Reach and the work we do. It is at this time of year that homeless and vulnerable people can feel especially isolated and alone.
We are hoping to raise money to support the users of Thames Reach’s services in reuniting with friends and family during the festive season. This can be a costly time of year for individuals on a low income as expenses may include travel, accommodation, meals and small gift for family members.
There are a number of ways in which you can get involved:
-
You can donate money to Thames Reach, and help us support the people who need it most this Christmas.
-
We are currently taking orders for Thames Reach Christmas cards designed by Shirley Perrin. We would like to suggest a minimum donation of £4 for 10 cards. Additionally, if your company wishes to use the image as an e-card this can be arranged. Orders can be made by email to: emma.rembalski@thamesreach.org.uk
-
Support in the form of donations of wrapped Christmas presents (value of up to £10), clearly marked for either male or female recipients are greatly received.
-
Fundraise for us by; holding a mulled wine and minced pies party one lunch time at your office. Staging a Christmas pantomime, or asking your local church to hold a carol concert in aid of Thames Reach.
Please keep us in the loop as to what you're doing, we want to hear all your innovative money making ideas!
