Tracey slept rough for nearly 20 years before taking up the offer of accommodation.
Last year, the persistence of a Thames Reach outreach worker paid off. Mark from Thames Reach’s London Street Rescue service, after a year of working with Tracey, linked her in with support services for drug users and persuaded her to leave her rough sleeping site and begging pitches.
Tracey is now housed in a hostel, has given up heroin and is back in touch with her family.
Please help us continue our work helping London's rough sleepers.
