Albert's story

Thames Reach service user Albert
Albert is a resident at Thames Reach's Robertson Street hostel.

Albert first became homeless in the 1970’s and slept rough until the 1990s when he made contact with the services of Thames Reach.

He’s now housed at the charity’s Robertson Street project for elderly former rough sleepers where he’s making great progress with his life.

He attends a volunteering course at a local college in south London and has just started Thames Reach’s Volunteering into Employment course as he aims to get back into work.
