TR Sutton – Lead Worker Vacancy (Fixed Term till 31/12/2017) - Advert Text – September 2017

Thames Reach aims to achieve the highest standards and effectiveness in service delivery to vulnerable people. As part of the Thames Reach team, all staff have a vital role in contributing and shaping the vision of ending rough sleeping and promoting improvement in people’s lives.

Thames Reach Sutton are looking for a Lead Worker. Based in Sutton, you’d be supporting people to recover from their substance use and / or lived experience of mental health. Your role would involve delivering person-centred and outcome-focussed support to enable people to access treatment and recovery services, and to help promote people’s independence. You’d also help us to deliver an effective and responsive Housing Management service to our service users.

Thames Reach Sutton provides a pathway for single people from homelessness to independence. It includes an Assessment Centre, two tiers of supported housing and support to assist people to move on to independent accommodation. Your work would involve empowering service users to make decisions, to live as independently as possible, to take control of their lives, and to create and access opportunities that support and maintain personal recovery. You’d be part of a staff team rota that delivers this service flexibly across the week.
