The Thames Reach trainee programme provides a career pathway into the homeless sector. It offers trainees the opportunity to gain the skills and experience needed to equip them to work in our front-line services and in the sector.
The trainee programme is open to people with a previous history of homelessness, and to people with little or no experience of the homeless sector i.e. a career changer. To succeed in the programme, you will need passion and commitment, empathy towards homeless people and basic administration skills.
The next intake will be in February 2009, and application packs will be available from 5 November 2008..
We may also be recruiting for trainees to work within our Central Services teams in the February 2009 intake of trainees next year. If you would like to register your interest and be notified when we are recruiting for these posts please email trainee@thamesreach.org.uk.
On the following pages, you can find out more about the trainee programme, guidance and frequently asked questions and the application process.
