Capitalise - London's Debt Advice Partnership

www.capitalise.org.uk

The vision of Capitalise is to reduce debt and financial exclusion in London by improving people’s capacity to manage their debts, enabling them to take more control over their finances and make informed choices in the future.

Capitalise employs 58 advisers, providing debt and money advice to financially excluded members of the public who are experiencing debt and money problems.

Capitalise is a London-wide partnership led by Toynbee Hall, Blackfriars Advice Centre, and Mary Ward Legal Centre, in partnership with a range of independent advice organisations, CABs and homelessness charities.

The Meaning of Money

Thames Reach were involved with the development of the Meaning of Money, a research report and workbook developed by Lemos and Crane. The Meaning of Money looks at why homeless and vulnerable people see money as a route to security, respect and freedom.
